There were also improvements to the Gemini space suits. The Gemini suits were white rather than silver, and were composed of a nylon material over a rubberized inner layer. The gloves were removable and were attached to a rotating wrist joint which allowed full wrist movement. The gloves were equipped with fingertip lights to aid in the reading of cabin instruments. |
