Apollo 16 mission commander John W. Young aligns the Central Station antenna during practice deployment of the Apollo lunar surface experiment package [ALSEP]. The central station will serve as a power distribution and handling point for lunar surface experiments he and lunar module pilot Charles Duke will deploy on the Moon in March.
