Apollo 16 astronauts Charles Duke and John Young deploy a training version of the Apollo Lunar Surface Experiment Package (ALSEP) they will carry to the Moon. The experiments, arranged in two sub-packs, were deployed from a full-scale lunar module mock-up shown in rear.
