Dr. Donald Stulken, head of NASA recovery, along with Captain Carl M. Cruse, skipper of the prime recovery ship USS Princeton, accompany Apollo 10 astronauts Tom Stafford (left), Gene Cernan, and John Young. This was the second US manned orbital flight to the moon, paving the way for a lunar landing mission this Summer.
